Semua belahan bumi gelap. Tak terkecuali negara ini dirundung kegelappan, imajinasi kian meredup. Ini tanda-tanda gerhana total.
Mereka meniup dan memadamkan cahaya lilin metafora pembangkangan. Mereka menghembuskan angin ribut memadamkan api perlawanan. Mereka mengirim pemadam menyirami bola-bola api semangat zaman.
Tapi mereka tak bisa memusnahkan niat dan kelicikan kami yang menenteng molotov sajak-sajak anti penindasan.
Rendra, andaikan kau datang malam ini, tentu engkau datang disambut dengan kegelapan.
Globalisasi mengirim awan gelapnya rata di daratan manapun.
Pasar dimana-mana, merembet kealiran darah, otak, dan sebentar lagi melumpuhkan jantung berdetak.
Tak peduli siapapun dia. Ustadz, petani, pelaut, seniman semuanya dalam jeratannya
Rendra andaikan kau datang malam ini datanglah dengan kereta kencana dan membawa sebukit mini kata untuk membendung banjir kata media HOAX. Terkadang kita perlu mensufikan HOAX dengan mini kata yang bernalar.
Seandainya Rendra datang hari ini, dia akan bergabung dengan pendekar-pendekar 212 dan merebut mimbar sambil melawak; apa-apaan kalian ini, sudahkah kalian tahu, jika Tuhan itu maha Agung? Sudahkah kalian bertanya perlu tidak membela tuhan? Sudahkah kalian bertanya buat apa membela tuhan?
Pertanyaan lagi;Apakah tuhan senang untuk dibela? Apakah tuhan murka bila tak disanjung? Dan Apakah tuhan tersanjung dengan rayuan palsumu?
Sebaiknya kau menundukkan kepala dan berbela sungkawa atas kekhilafanmu.
Sepatutnya kau mengambil wudhu, shalat gaib, dan bertaubat nasuha atas dosa-dosa besarmu.
Karena ternyata Tuhan tak butuh untuk dibela, hanya saja para Tuan-tuan yang bergelimang harta kini sedang menikmati gairah kekuasaan atas pekik takbirmu.
Rendra andaikan kau datang hari ini, ajaklah Tolstoy untuk menengok pedang fasis yang terhunus berkilau dan bersarung anyar. Hati Tolstoy pasti tergelincir melihat kekejaman menari-nari di mimbar mushala dan rumah-rumah tuhan yang Agung. Ini lebih kejam daripada kejahatannya Tsar. Mereka religius berbulu singa. Siap menerkam siapa saja yang bukan berbulu singa.
Rendra, sekiranya kau datang pada malam ini, ajaklah saudaramu Wiji Thukul, bercerita, agar dia bisa meyakinkan saudara-saudara kami bagaimana kejamnya otoritariannisme bapak tua yang memimpin negeri ini dengan tumbal kepala rakyat terpenggal demi pembangunan imperiumnya
Dan, seandainya Rendra datang bersama Yu Patmi dan Salim Kancil malam ini, apa yang mereka bagi kepada kita setelah ruhnya memandang jenuh bobroknya birokrasi yang tak mau terimakasih atas bulir-bulir padi kuning yang sudah merunduk sedih bergelantungan di tiang jerami.
Bulir-bulir padi itu awalnya riang saat dirinya ditabur dan menjadi nasi pengganjal perut. Dan kita pun semua menikmatinya. Tapi sekali lagi, dia merasa heran, mengapa masih ada saja yang sudi menguburnya dengan debu semen dan pasir. Sementara amuk lapar butuh nasi bukan pasir semen.
Dan seandainya Rendra membawa dinamit malam ini?
Tentu semua akan gempar. Karena Rendra akan meledakkan kemarahannya. Dia akan berkata; dahulu aku melawan kekejian tirani dan pada akhirnya tumbang jua.
Tapi kini tirani itu mulai disemai kembali dengan logika bernanah. Sesungguhnya tirani itu bukan hanya milik satu orang sayang, mereka memilikinya, ya mereka hanya segelintir, tidak banyak. Maka, hanya ada satu kata, Bersatulah Seniman pembangkang di seluruh dunia.
