Pagi ini aku hanya bareng berdua saja dengan Locke ngopi di salah-satu kafe di Yogyakarta. Biasanya, ada banyak kawan-kawan yang ikut merapat dan ngopi pula disini. Atawa sambil baca buku lalu ngibul kanan kiri sampai ketemu kiri yang kiri dan lalu kiri yang jalan terus. Tapi kali ini entah mengapa hanya ada kami berrdua saja disini.

Seperti biasanya, kalau sudah bertemu (dan ini yang ngangeni) kami memulai obrolan santai tentang kontrakan yang hanya tinggal setengah semester lagi. Sederhana; mau lanjut atau cabut. Dan biasanya Locke punya solusi jitu seperti togel. Hehe.. Lalu setelah itu kami membahas hal yang paling krusial diantara seluruh yang ada terkait kontrakan. Yaitu tentang solidaritas. Dan ini sangat serius sekali. Karena terkadang begitulah kontrakan dan penghuninya. Ada yang susah di ajak kerjasama, ada juga yang suka bikin kotor, dan ada pula yang tidak mau iuran hanya untuk makan bersama. Wajar memang, terutama bagi kelompok-kelompok rentan kemiskinan macam kami ini. Apalah daya, dompet kadang hanya terisi beberapa kartu identitas perpustakaan saja sehingga terlihat agak tebal.

Dari obrolan tersebut aku sempat bergurau dengan Locke. Maklum karena ia anaknya getol dengan ilmu filsafat, jadi agak nyambung kalau ditanya-tanya dengan yang njelimet. Sebenarnya siapa sih manusia itu? Nah begitu aku berusaha membuka isi kepala Locke. Dan seperti biasanya, Locke menyambar dengan suaranya yang sedikit tinggi dan agak serak-serak becek “Manusia itu dilahirkan akalnya bersih seperti kertas kosong atau tabularasa, kemudian akalnya diberikan warna oleh pengalamannya”. Itu ia terangkan sambil menunjuk-nunjuk kepalaku. Dasar kampret Locke ini. Masa menerangkan saja harus nunjuk kepalaku sih. Belum pernah disikut musang air barangkali ya. Begitu aku berpikir negatif. Tapi belum sempat aku menyela, Locke sudah menambahi lagi bahwa manusia yang memberikan rasa damai, tenang, dan memberikan keamanan. Keadaan seperti itu diwarnai niat yang baik dan tindakan saling menjaga. Pada keadaan itu pun manusia hidup dalam keadaan bebas dan sama. Itu katanya.

‘Lalu bagaimana dengan realitas yang ada Locke?’aku coba kejar-kejar ia dengan pertanyaan serius. Dan anehnya, ia hanya tertawa sinis, cengengesan seperti anak kecil meler-meler menghisap es krim. Ia benar-benar seperti mengejek kemampuanku. Katanya, memang ada manusia yang susah diajak kerjasama, satu sama lain saling berkompetisi, satu sama lain saling menjatuhkan demi perutnya sendiri, satu sama lain saling menindas. Haha… coba lihat ia menjawab, santai dan enteng. Dasar bajinguk Locke ini.

Ini bukan soal kontrakan kita saja Locke. Coba lihat Indonesia sekarang ini: yang kaya makin kaya, yang miskin makin miskin (sambil sedikit menirukan gerakan Rhoma Irama). Belum lagi ditambah dengan korupsi yang merajalela. Bayangkan Locke, presiden dengan segala kemewahannya, menteri dengan segala kemewahannya, gedung DRP dengan segala kemewahannya, bahkan ada yang mau tambah lagi bikin gedung baru. Alih-alih kemewahan, tanah rakyat digusur sana-sini, dengan alasan tata kota lah, dengan alasan bikin bandara baru lah, dengan alasan bikin mall lah. Ah rasanya makin absurd saja hidup ini Locke.

Santai saja Bob. Begitu Locke menyapaku. Sebenarnya aku tadi belum selesai menjelaskan duduk perkaranya padamu. Ini biar kamu tidak terlalu goblok lah. Waduh…kali ini ia benar-benar mengejek kemampuanku. Menurutku, kata Locke, sebuah negara berdiri berlandaskan kontrak sosial yang di dalamnya terkandung nilai-nilai yang disepakati. Nah dari kesepakatan tersebut, kedua belah pihak harus berkomitmen untuk menjaganya, baik pemerintah maupun masyarakat itu sendiri. Apabila salah satu pihak lalai terhadap kesepakatan ini, maka kontrak itu menjadi sia-sia. Penghianatan terhadap kontrak sosial menyebabkan rakyat berhak membatalkannya dan memberontak kepada pemerintah.

Wah ngeri sekali pernyataanmu Locke. Aku jadi sedikit takut, trus bagaimana mungkin hari ini kita bisa membatalkan kontrak sosial tersebut? Karena faktanya diskusi tentang ‘65 aja di bubarin, pameran seni Wiji Tukul digerebek dan dipaksa bubar, nonton film pulau buru tidak boleh, bincang-bincang tentang LGBT diharamkan. Semuanya hampir-hampir dibubarin. Trus bagaimana kalau begini. Emang gampang seperti katamu bahwa kontrak sosial tersebut bisa dibatalin begitu saja. Mungkin yang dirimu maksud bukan kontrak sosial, tapi kontrakan kita. Hehe…

Da tiba-tiba kepalaku jadi berat dan sakit. Terasa ada yang sedang mukul seperti menjitak. Dan benar saja, aku digeret-geret oleh beberapa kawan sambil dijitak. Ayo bangun. Cus sholat lalu kita berangkat Aksi Kamisan. Ini hampir setengah empat sore. Aku hanya bingung. Tapi aku tetap bangun mesi kepala berat. Setelah mandi, wudhu dan sholat, aku baru sadar bahwa ternyata tadi aku sedang bermimpi. Tepatnya mimpi di siang bolong. Tapi ini mungkin mimpi terindah dan terberat. Mimpi bertemu pesohor dunia. Mimpi diskusi dengan John Locke, seorang filsuf Inggris dan orang penting dalam perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan. Terimakasih Locke. Ini pelajaran berharga walau hanya lewat mimpi.
