Yu Patmi menghidupkan keyakinan lama tentang perjuangan. Yang tidak didasarkan pada manifesto semata. Yang tidak dimotivasi oleh keyakinan agama melulu. Melainkan kesadaran atas sebuah masa depan. Dimana kehidupan yang tidak dirawat dengan penghormatan pada alam akan jadi hidup yang bersandar pada kerakusan semata Demi untuk keyakinan itulah dirinya datang ke Ibu Kota: protes di depan istana. Tuhan mencintainya dengan menjemputnya segera.
Yu Patmi kini ingin mendirikan musholla. Jika pabrik berdiri dengan motif pembangunan. Musholla berdiri diatas keyakinan sederhana: kebenaran itu tak bisa dimusnahkan. Melalui Musholla Yu Patmi ingin memberi pesan: manusia itu jangan tamak dan penguasa itu tak selamanya berkuasa. Musholla berdiri tidak dengan menggusur, tidak musti membasmi sawah dan tidak pula menganiaya warganya. Musholla itu untuk mengingatkan manusia pada tapal batas hidupnya.
Musholla itu jadi cermin kemilau sebuah jejak. Kalau kebenaran itu diperjuangkan bukan karena akan menang. Kebenaran itu diperjuangkan karena kandunganya yang benar. Sedari awal perjuangan Yu Patmi bersama ibu-ibu lainya telah jadi tauladan sempurna tentang politik. Tidak untuk berebut, bukan untuk mencaci serta tidak untuk dipilih. Puncak harapan Yu Patmi adalah musholla, yang tumbuh dengan kesadaran agama yang sederhana: Iman itu bukan hanya bicara tapi mengubah kenyataan yang ada. Tuhan cinta yu Patmi. Bukan karena kefasihan dalam doa, tidak karena jadi pengurus organisasi agama tapi sikapnya yang begitu berani. Bersama dengan yang lain menyalakan api kesadaran. Bersama dengan yang lain mengingatkan pemodal dan penguasa. Bahwasanya tindakan memeras alam itu akan berakibat bahaya. Pola pembangunan yang membabi buta itu dapat mewariskan persoalan di masa depan. Tuhan menjemputnya ketika yu Patmi tengah berada di medan juang. Tuhan menginginkan yu Patmi jadi tauladan, contoh dan keyakinan tentang perjuangan.
Kini melalui alam yang beda Yu Patmi datang bawa pesan. Dirikan Musholla di sekitar kediamanya. Jadikan tempat itu ibadah bagi semua. Tempat manusia mengadukan keluhanya. Tempat dimana manusia memanjatkan harapanya. Biarlah protes itu tak ditanggapi, demonstrasi tak diindahkan sama sekali tapi harapan Yu Patmi pantas untuk kita penuhi. Harapanya adalah berdirinya Musholla sebagai pengingat kalau manusia itu hidupnya bukan untuk merugikan kepentingan yang lain tapi memberi manfaat bagi sesama. Musholla itu bisa jadi tempat untuk mengadu saat tak ada tempat lain untuk bertanya, bicara dan berharap.
Ajakan ini mulia bukan karena kita akan diberi banyak pahala. Atau kita akan diajak terbang ke surga. Ajakan ini mulia karena yang mengajaknya adalah almarhum Yu Patmi. Memandangnya saya jadi malu sendiri: perempuan tua yang tak goyah oleh tekanan, teguh dengan keyakinan dan tak pernah takut oleh apapun yang mengancam. Sukar bagi saya meniru tindakanya, sulit untuk saya bisa melanjutkan jejaknya tapi mungkin harapanya itu bisa saya, kita dan anda semua mewujudkanya.
