Dengan memegang sertifikat, menurut Presiden, jika ada orang datang klaim, bisa dibantah. Kepala Negara menambahkan buktinya adalah sertifikat tersebut. Hal tersebut disampaikan presiden saat penyerahan sertifikat di Lamongan. “Ini adalah bukti hak hukum atas tanah yang kita miliki. Sertifikat adalah tanda bukti hak atas tanah yang kita miliki. Sehingga Ibu/Bapak sekalian yang sudah pegang ini sudah, tenang,” ucap Presiden Jokowi.

Tapi rasa aman, tenang, bersahaja, dan damai tersebut tidak di alami oleh warga Kulonprogo. Malah yang terjadi adalah hal sebaliknya. Janji-janji Jokowi atas kepemilikan tanah tidak terbukti di Kulonprogo. Yang terjadi adalah perampasan-perampasan hak milik yang jelas-jelas wajib dilindungi. Padahal sudah sangat jelas bahwa warga memiliki sertifikat hak milik atas tanah kelahirannya. Mengapa ancaman penggusuran terus membayang-bayangi kehidupan mereka? Apakah klaim kepemilikan sertifikat tidak ada artinya lagi di negeri ini.

Itu terbukti Pada tanggal 26 Maret 2018 terjadi pemasangan portal di jalan Daendels yang dilakukan oleh angkasa pura 1 serta PT. PP yang dikawal aparat bersenjata. Tindakan yang dilakukan ini begitu merugikan warga. Pasalnya dengan penutupan jalan tersebut akses warga menajadi terganggu, baik dari segi sosial dan ekonomi.

Pemasangan portal tersebut sangat arogan karena tidak memperhatikan hak-hak masyarakat atas akses jalan yang mengakibatkan kesulitan untuk keluar masuk rumah maupun lahan pertaniaanya. Pemortalan ini mengakibatkan kerugian ekonomi warga kulon progo khususnya para petani.

Tindakan yang dilakukan angkasa pura dan aparata ini merupakan penghilangan hak-hak warga atas tanah yang dimiliki yang menjadi haknya. Tindakan ini merupakan sikap kontra-produktif dengan cita-cita keadilan bagi seluruh rakyat indonesia

Atas dasar ini, Aksi Kamisan Jogja SMI (social movement Institute), KontraS, Amnesty Internasional Indonesia, beserta pegiat HAM dan Demokrasi, mengutuk segala tindakan arogansi, perampasan hak hidup, pemaksaan terhadap petani Kulonprogo atas tindakan sewenang-wenang angkasa pura dan aparat-aparat kemanan yang terhormat. Kami berusaha mengajak publik untuk terus berjuang mempertahankan hak hidup, untuk terus memperjuangkan dan mempertahankan ruang hidup dari firaun-firaun ponggak, dari firaun-firaun tirani, dari firaun-firaun penjilat. Saatnya demokrasi ditegakkan untuk kedaulatan bangsa dan harkat martabat manusia yang sesungguhnya.
